Making an Impact with Scholarships
Awards from $5,000 to $20,000!
The Lutheran Foundation is committed to supporting the next generation of highly trained, compassionate healthcare professionals. To help students pursue their calling in nursing or other healthcare fields, our scholarships provide a one-time award ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.
Students who received an award for the 2025-2026 academic year, are not eligible.
This competitive opportunity is designed to make a meaningful difference in each recipient’s educational journey.
You do not need to be Lutheran to apply.

Eligibility Requirements
- Pursuing a career in nursing or a health professions degree for direct patient care.
- A permanent residence in one of the following Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, or Whitley.
- A minimum GPA of 3.20 on a 4.00 scale.
- A current college student, a second career/older student, or planning to attend college in the upcoming school year.
- Applicants must be above freshman status and accepted into the nursing or health professions program (must provide documentation for verification).
- Attending a minimum of two semesters in the upcoming school year.
- Nursing students pursuing a Registered Nursing degree and above (no LPN, LVN, or CNA degrees).
- Social work students must be pursuing a Master's or Doctorate degree.
- In-person students only (no online programs).
- Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree.
- Attending an eligible college/university listed below.

Application and Deadline
If the deadline date falls on a weekend or holiday, it is extended to the next business day at noon.
