Lutheran Park and Gardens

The sale of Lutheran Hospital in 1995 led to the demolition of the original facility on Fairfield Avenue. After listening to community concerns and gathering input from the five surrounding neighborhood associations, the property was transformed into Lutheran Park and Gardens.

The park was built following a $900,000 investment in land improvement and development, and was officially dedicated “to the glory of God and for the enjoyment of all” on June 25, 2006.

Lutheran Park and Gardens is adjacent to The Lutheran Foundation building at 3024 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
