2009 Maxine Rippe Award Winner: Martin “Bud” Scheimann
The Lutheran Foundation congratulates Martin “Bud” Scheimann, recipient of the 2009 Maxine Rippe Award for service to Allen County. For decades, Bud has been active with Lutheran Social Services of Indiana as a board member and organizer of the annual Paint-A-Thon Program. In his 35 years with Do it Best Corp., Bud galvanized his colleagues in support of the United Way, and he has worked to encourage support from other companies. He has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and has donated more than 13 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross. Bud Sheimann is a shining example of the enormous difference one person can make. Thank you, Bud, for all you’ve given to our community.
The Maxine Rippe Award was established by the Raymond Rosenberger Award Foundation for service to Allen County through work with an exempt charitable organization.
